The Midwest Mustang and Burro Saddle Club was established in 2002 after a Wild Horse and Burro Workshop held in Lawrence, KS. Many of the participants of the workshop formed lifelong friendships with others who share their love for mustangs. The group was originally established as an e-mail group for the participants to stay in touch and assist each other in training methods and ideas. As the group continued to grow in membership it became obvious that many members wanted to do more to promote and educate people about mustangs. In the summer of 2006 several members started riding in parades. The group received an invitation to perform at Topeka's Farmhouse Daze - all of their success fueled their fire to continue promoting mustangs. The sky became the limit. Equifest of Kansas in Wichita, KS. Who knows what the remainder of 2007 holds for such an enthusiastic group!
